Welcome to the week of discoveries, hospitality and culinary journeys – Welcome to Georgia!

Georgia is a charming country, full of wonderful places with a perfect combination of the landscapes: the sea, mountains, valleys and even a desert.

During your week-long journey you will visit the Caucasus Mountains surrounding Kazbegi, will overlook the beautiful Alazani valley from the city of love Sighnaghi and visit the Uplistsikhe Cave City. Georgia is the home of mineral waters, and the most famous and delicious mineral water will be tasted in Borjomi during the tour. With us you will experience a little bit of a fairy-tale in the colorful and magnificent Prometheus Cave.

A visit to Georgia without culinary discoveries is unimaginable. Hence, we invite you to savor and indulge into Georgian culinary masterpieces such as: Khachapuri, Khinkali and Mtsvadi. Do not forget local wine, as Georgia claims to be the Cradle of Wine, we will introduce you to the finest of its kind.

Day 1

  • Arrival   at Tbilisi International Airport
  • Transfer to the Hotel accompanied by the guide
  • Guided tour in the old district of Tbilisi – Tbilisi’s diverse history is reflected in its architecture, being a mix of medieval, neoclassical, Stalinist and the modern structures. Historically, Tbilisi has been home to people of multiple cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds, all reflected in the soul of this charming city
  • Dinner and overnight in Tbilisi

Day 2

  • Breakfast at the Hotel in Tbilisi
  • Transfer to Mtskheta – The ancient capital and religious center of Georgia. It is a museum city on the list of the world heritage sights of UNESCO. Among the number of significant archaeological and religious monuments in and around the town, we will visit the most important one – Svetitskhoveli (11th c.)- a magnificent cathedral of cross-dome design, known as the burial site of Christ ‘s robe
  • Transfer to Kazbegi
  • Stop at the Ananuri complex
  • Lunch on the way to Kazbegi
  • Guided tour of Gergeti Trinity   Church  in Kazbegi-the old Georgian Church is located under        the Mount Kazbek, 2170m above the sea level,         built in the 14th century.
  • Transfer to Tbilisi
  • Dinner and overnight    in Tbilisi

Day 3

  • Breakfast at the Hotel in Tbilisi
  • Transfer to Kakheti, region most famous for its wine-making traditions. 70% of all Georgian wine is produced here
  • Transfer to Sighnaghi – the “City of love”, overlooking the Alazani valley, with magnificent views of the Great Caucasus Range. Its tiny cobblestone streets, tiled roofs and wooden balconies take you back in time.
  • Lunch in Sighnaghi
  • Transfer to Tsinandali Estate – the place where Georgian wine was first bottled
  • Wine tasting at the famous Tsinandali winery
  • Walking tour in Tsinandali garden, where rarest plants of Georgia are exhibited
  • Transfer to Tbilisi and dinner at the restaurant on the way to Tbilisi
  • Overnight in Tbilisi

Day 4

  • Breakfast at the hotel in Tbilisi
  • Transfer to Gori – small city, well known as the birth place of Joseph Stalin
  • Guided tour of Stalin Museum
  • Lunch and transfer to  Uplistikhe – the ancient fortified city cut inside the volcanic rocks, first mentioned in the chronicles in the 1st century BC
  • Transfer to Tbilisi
  • Dinner and overnight    in Tbilisi

Day 5

  • Breakfast at the Hotel in Tbilisi
  • Transfer to Borjomi – the health resort is situated in the south-east of Georgia in the Kura river gorge at the height of 800m above the sea level. The Borjomi mineral water is a well-known brand with protected geographical indication
  • Borjomi mineral water tasting and walking tour in the National Park
  • Lunch in Borjomi
  • Transfer to Rabati Castle – built in the 13th century, Rabati castle developed under the influence of different cultures, reflected in its architecture. You will find a Church, a Mosque, a Minaret and a Synagogue within the 7 hectares of the Complex.
  • Transfer to a restaurant for the dinner
  • Overnight in Akhaltsikhe

Day 6

  • Breakfast at the hotel in Akhaltsikhe
  • Transfer to Prometheus Cave – Visit to the Prometheus cave, which is famous for its stalactites and stalagmites. It is one of the most beautiful caves in Georgia, where underground temperature is always 16 Celsius degrees
  • Transfer to Kutaisi – Lunch on the way to Kutaisi
  • Guided tour in Kutaisi   visiting  Gelati and Bagrati churches, which are in UNESCO world heritage list
  • Dinner and overnight in Kutaisi

Day 7

And here your memorable journey comes to an end. By now you have seen beautiful places, met nice people and tasted delicious food.
